The iCandy DREAM Collection was one of iCandy Scissors Australia's longest-running professional scissor families, first introduced in 2013 and developed across a decade of cutting, thinning, colour and ergonomic evolution before production concluded in 2022.
DREAM became an important part of iCandy's early development of professional hairdressing scissors, evolving from a distinctive Pink Rainbow design into a broad professional cutting system spanning cutting scissors, thinning scissors, coordinated bundles, multiple sizes, Mirror and Midnight finishes, swivel-thumb ergonomics, dedicated left-handed configurations and, from 2016, an extensive Rose Gold generation.
2013 — The Original DREAM Generation
The original iCandy DREAM Collection was introduced in 2013 with the distinctive Pink Rainbow colour treatment that became closely associated with the DREAM identity.
From its early development, DREAM was designed around professional use rather than colour alone. Cutting and thinning scissors were developed as complementary tools, helping establish the coordinated professional system approach that would become increasingly important as the collection expanded.

In November 2022, iCandy introduced the ANGEL VG10 Collection, establishing a new professional cutting and thinning platform following the DREAM generation.
November 2022 — The original iCandy ANGEL VG10 Scissors Collection, marking the beginning of the ANGEL generation following the conclusion of the long-running DREAM Collection.
ANGEL represented a new professional platform rather than a reproduction of DREAM, continuing iCandy's development of coordinated cutting and thinning systems while introducing a new design identity and VG10 generation.
July 2025 — ANGEL DREAM Carries the DREAM Heritage Forward
In July 2025, iCandy introduced the ANGEL DREAM Pink Diamante VG10 Scissors Bundle within the ANGEL VG10 Collection.
Its distinctive Pink & Golden Rainbow colour treatment and DREAM name were created as a deliberate modern nod to the original DREAM Collection and its Pink Rainbow heritage first introduced in 2013.
July 2025 — iCandy ANGEL DREAM Pink & Golden Rainbow VG10 cutting and thinning bundle, carrying the DREAM name and colour heritage forward within the modern ANGEL VG10 platform.

ANGEL DREAM is not a reproduction of the original DREAM scissor. It is a later professional VG10 generation that deliberately preserves part of DREAM's historical identity through its name and distinctive Pink & Golden Rainbow colour treatment.
