The iCandy ATHENA Scissors Collection represents an important chapter in the history of iCandy Scissors Australia. First launched in 2012 as part of the original iCandy collection, ATHENA became one of iCandy’s recognised professional scissor designs for hairdressers and barbers.
Developed around professional ergonomics, balance and smooth cutting performance, ATHENA evolved into a range of professional cutting, thinning and texturising scissors in multiple sizes for salon and barbering work. Its distinctive ergonomic handle design and ball-bearing tension system reflect the professional design philosophy that has been part of iCandy Scissors since the brand’s early years.

Production of the iCandy ATHENA Collection has now ended. ATHENA has officially entered the iCandy Legacy Collection, preserving its place in the history and development of iCandy professional hairdressing and barber scissors.
Most ATHENA models are now sold out and will not be restocked. Any ATHENA products still shown as available represent final remaining stock from the collection. Once an individual ATHENA model has sold out, production will not resume.
Although ATHENA production has concluded, this collection and its individual product pages remain online as part of the iCandy Scissors historical product archive, documenting an original iCandy scissor design dating back to 2012 and preserving the specifications, professional applications and customer history associated with the range.

Really impressed by the sleek design and how well it handles. The swivel end makes it really comfortable to grip without risking injuring yourself or anyone. Was comfortable even after holding for a while and nothing to tighten or adjust. Cleaning was easy enough, most hair fell away and the rest could be brushed out with a soft brush no problem. Shipped safely and just as pictured, really appreciate that.
