Lance Liufau - iCandy ALL STAR NATIONAL EDUCATOR QLD Australia
Lance is a 36-year old New Zealander born of Samoan Chinese ethnicity, a father, husband, art lover and barber.
He grew up in West Auckland for the first 19 years of his life and has spent the last 17 years living in Brisbane, where Lance’s barbering career began in 2005.
Lance started cutting in a barbershop in the heart of the Logan Area and has worked in and around the greater parts of Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
About seven years ago Lance became interested in sharing his knowledge and skill set with others to assist those wishing to gain more from their profession and learn techniques to use in their day-to-day work. He organised his first workshop in 2013 and since then Lance has shared his knowledge with many barbers at various events and education sessions.
Fast forward to today, Lance has performed stage work at HairBiz Forum, Hair Expo and the Brisbane Hair & Beauty Expo every year since 2014. He’s worked with, and performed workshops for, various companies such as Wahl Australia, De Lorenzo, Paul Mitchell as well as a range of wholesale distributors.
Lance is currently one of three owners of The Loft Barbershop (Australia), the former Editor of Barbershop Magazine and is also a former Wahl Education & Artistic Team Member and an iCandy Scissors Ambassador since 2016.
One accomplishment that Lance is proud of is having organised a 24-hour cutting event for Men’s Mental Health in November 2018. It was open to all barbers who wanted to help, and Lance is proud to say that the barbering industry came together for a great cause and raised both funds and awareness.

Bruce Leeroy - iCandy ALL STAR NATIONAL EDUCATOR QLD Australia
Bruce (The Barber Bandit) from The Loft Barbershop in Brisbane, Australia has been making a name for himself in the scene alongside his highly skilled colleagues at The Loft.
Bruce’s creative style speaks for itself, with a fusion of traditional and modern day barbering, he prides himself on his attention to detail and the passion for wanting to build lasting relationships. 12 years in the barbering industry and Bruce has continually worked on developing and honing on his craft.
As the co-owner of The Loft Barbershop, his mission is to continually provide exceptional barbering services, pave a way for the youth and sharpen the next line of future barbers.

Mario Fallace - iCandy ALL STAR LEAD GLOBAL EDUCATOR
Passionate is a great way to describe Mario Fallace. His passion for the hair industry and growing those in it is evident. Using his 36 years of experience in the hair industry, Mario owns and operates New York barbers and Fallachi Hair. Both shops are located in Berwick, VIC. Mario started his career as an apprentice barber, learning the trade from his two mentors who were barbers from Italy. After a few years in barbering, Mario could see trends changing into longer hair for men and the male clientele started to go to a women’s hairdresser for their hair. Adapting to this change, Mario went and did his hairdressing qualification and went on to become a well-accomplished women’s hairdresser, using his skill in barbering to specialise in women’s short hair. He opened his first salon, Fallachi Hair, in 1987 which is now Berwick’s longest-standing hair salon. In 2014 as the barber industry made a comeback, Mario opened New York barbers which has now become one of Australia’s biggest barbershops. Mario has a wealth of experience when it comes to education within the hair industry. He has educated all over South-East Asia with Indola, educated for Chisholm Institute as well as around Australia with Alfaparf Milano and iCandy Scissors just to name a couple, as well as currently educating with Turnleys Hair supplies Australia.
Kim Astropalitis - iCandy ALL STAR NATIONAL EDUCATOR
Kim is the owner and Artistic Director of Chroma Hair Studio in Brisbane; opened her first salon 29 years ago, after working at a few salons in Brisbane and in country NSW along the way. Over the past 29 years her hairdressing skills have seen her excel in many areas of the industry including her biggest passion training and competitions. One great memory was participating at the World Hairdressing Championships in Tokyo in 1992 as part of the Australian support team. Chroma Hair Studio has been built with the philosophy of championing classic modernity in an intimate, sophisticated environment. The studio is now recognized by the biggest names in Australia for its level of expertise, award winning staff training and most importantly its care for customers.
Kim worked with Matrix as a Community Show Ambassador since 2010, presenting numerous shows and workshops throughout QLD and NSW to stylists and salon owners. Kim appeared at Hair Expo in 2012 and 2018 as a Platform Artist and continues educating for Matrix. Kim was chosen as one of the 1st HOT TEAM Members for Matrix, which she gained many extra skills mentored by the Australian Design Team. Since 2016, Kim has been part of the Matrix Australian Design Team: a hand-picked team of only 12 Australian hairdressers who travel the country to educate and inspire. This has seen her presenting to hairdressers across Australia. Teaching the fundamentals of cutting called CRAFT CUTTINGand expert coloring techniques presenting BALAYAGE ME, which Kim has been extremely excited to present for the last 2 years.
Fraser Forsey - iCandy ALL STAR NATIONAL EDUCATOR
AMBA’s 2021 Best Men’s Educator award winner, Director of Barber Temple and National Educator for Tommy Gun’s Australia.
Fraser Forsey, has trained in over 150 shops across Australia and was recently titled a National Educator for Andis Australia.
Over his 17 years in the industry, Fraser has developed a unique style of education which demonstrates his love and passion for Barbering and business. Known for his infectious enthusiasm and love for the industry, Fraser will leave you feeling truly inspired.
Anthony Nafatali - iCandy ALL STAR NATIONAL EDUCATOR
National Educator of Barber Temple, Anthony has had the opportunity to educate all over Australia and not only to educate but also inspire others.
Anthony possesses a wealth of technical knowledge of the trade that far exceeds the amount of years he has spent behind the chair.
